Mature skin can tell us a lot about a person, because signs of aging are the sum of our experiences. This is because the skin remembers our most typical expressions, smiles, and facial tension, and time categorizes them all as expression marks. Wrinkles can tell of all the times when the skin has been stressed by heat, cold, wind and especially by the sun. The skin then carries all the baggage of a person's life.
Cosmetic products created for mature skin do not aim to undo all the signs of aging, but to mitigate them. They aim to enhance the skin, so that it "speak well of that person." These products, then, want to take care of the skin making it softer and making it look younger.
These products act on several fronts, hydrating it and strengthening its defenses. At the same time, some creams counteract free radicals acting as antioxidants, revitalizing the skin cells.
Skin aging is something normal and we must live it positively. This does not mean, however, that we should not take care of our skin…and especially that we should not delay aging as much as possible!
